How To Meet Jesus...
In a world of seemingly ever increasing pressure it’s good to take time to reflect and remember that Jesus said ‘Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest’ (Matthew 11:28)
Jesus came into the world to save us and bring us hope. The Bible tells us that Jesus did not come to condemn us, to tell how bad we are, but to show us God’s love in action. He died so that we can be forgiven for our wrongdoing.

There are many burdens that we can carry in life. The things that we think and do that are wrong (the Bible calls it sin) which prevent us from coming to God. The death of Jesus paid the penalty for our sin and we can know his forgiveness if we say we are sorry and make a commitment to follow him. It’s really very simple. We realise that God loves us and has made it possible for us to be forgiven. We ask for his forgiveness and become followers of Jesus. Somebody has said that it is like ABC… |
Ask God to forgive you for the things that you have done which fall short of His very high standards.
Believe that Jesus Christ died to take the punishment that you deserve; and because of what Jesus did on the cross, you are forgiven and set free.
Commit yourself to God and to following Jesus, allowing Him to work in your life by letting His Holy Spirit come into your heart, to make you more like Jesus.
